Jack Benne, President & CEO
Jack Benne, a graduate of the Netherlands' Agricultural College, designed, built and operated a 10,000 square meter greenhouse, one of Holland's most successful operations. In 1987, based in British Columbia's fertile Fraser Valley, he established Bevo Farms, forerunner of Bevo Agro Inc. Combining his traditional Dutch training with advanced technology, he made Bevo Agro North America's leading supplier of propagated plants.
Don Fairholm, CFO
Mr. Fairholm is a partner with Fairholm & Co., a chartered accountancy firm. Mr. Fairholm is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Management Consultant who has consulted to Bevo since inception.
Leo Benne, VP & GM
Leo Benne gained advanced knowledge of modern horticultural methods at Rijks Middlebare Tuinbouw School in Holland. With extensive experience in the application of computer technology to the production of healthy, high-yield plants, he has been a key figure in the development of Bevo Agro. Leo Benne is a hands on vice-president, overseeing every stage of the company's operations, from planting to shipping.
Wayne Green, Director
Over the past quarter century, Wayne Green has provided consultations to numerous corporations and financial institutions. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Green was a senior banking executive. He has used his financial expertise to assist private and public companies in a diversity of fields in business development, strategic planning, financing alternatives, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions.
Harri Jansson, Director
Mr. Jansson is COO of Prospero Credit Union. A career banker, he was formerly CEO of Coast Capital Savings and an Executive Vice President with the Bank of Montreal. Mr. Jansson is active in the Vancouver community having served as Chairman of the Vancouver Board of Trade, as well as Chairman of the UBC and VGH Foundation.
